A shared vision for building peace

Tina Ramirez, founder of Hardwired, visited the club to discuss peace education, the start of what became the Fruitopia global grant.

A shared vision for building peace

Rotary Club Peja welcomed Tina Ramirez, founder of the organisation Hardwired, and our Rotarian friend Stephen Beer from the USA.

We exchanged experiences from our successful projects and discussed working together on peacebuilding, empowering teachers and educating pupils. Education is the foundation for building peace, so we agreed to work together for a better and more peaceful future for all.

This partnership led to the Fruitopia peace and human rights education project, funded by a Rotary Foundation global grant.
